Terms of use
Last updated 2 November 2026. Questions? Email info@jhhq.co.uk.
About these terms
Job Hunt HQ (“the service”, “we”) is a personal job-search assistant run by Rashid Idle in the United Kingdom. Using it means you accept these terms, our Privacy notice, Cookie notice and Acceptable use rules. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Who can use it
- Accounts are by invitation only. You must be 16 or over and looking for work for yourself.
- Keep your password private – you're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us straight away at info@jhhq.co.uk if you think someone else has used it.
- We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we need to protect the service or other people.
What the service does – and doesn't
- It finds and scores jobs, writes draft cover letters, CVs and answers, fills in forms when you ask it to, and tracks your applications. Everything it writes is a draft for you to check.
- You are responsible for every application you send. Read and correct anything it fills in or writes before you submit. It never presses Submit for you.
- Only give information that's true. Never use the service to claim experience, qualifications or rights you don't have.
- Jobs come from third-party job sites and employers. We don't check, endorse or guarantee any job, employer, salary or advert, and we're not a recruitment agency or an employer.
- Using the service doesn't guarantee interviews or job offers.
Other websites
The service links to and works alongside job sites (for example Indeed, LinkedIn, Reed, CV-Library) and employers' application forms. Those sites have their own terms, which you agree to when you use them. Use the browser assistant only in ways those sites allow, and only on your own applications.
Your content
Your CV, career details, letters and answers stay yours. You let us store and process them only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy notice. You can download or delete them at any time from your Account page.
Availability and changes
The service is provided free of charge, “as is”, and may sometimes be unavailable, change, or stop. We'll try to give notice of big changes. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the service means you accept the update.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, as a free service, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, for the outcome of any job application, or for content on third-party sites. See the Disclaimer.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also use your local courts.
