Drafts, not advice
Cover letters, CVs, answers, scores and suggestions are produced automatically – sometimes with AI – from the details you give and the job advert. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Always read, check and edit them before you use them. They aren't careers, legal, immigration or financial advice.
Fit scores
A job's score is an estimate of how well the advert matches the details you entered. It isn't a prediction of whether you'll be shortlisted, and it can't see everything an employer looks for.
Job adverts and other sites
Adverts, salaries, locations and closing dates come from third parties and can change or be removed without notice. We don't vet employers or recruiters. Be careful with any job that asks you for money, bank details or ID documents before a proper offer – report it to the job site and to Action Fraud.
Questions it won't answer for you
Personal and sensitive questions on application forms – such as health, disability, criminal record, diversity monitoring, right to work and visa status – are left for you to answer yourself, unless you've saved your own answer. What you submit is your responsibility.
Accuracy of your information
The service uses only what you tell it. Keep My settings and My career up to date, and never add anything that isn't true – an employer may check it, and it could cost you an offer.
